Summary: A group of friends, We wanted a quick get-away close before school starts and crazy takes over. The location was wonderful, close to everything. If it hadn’t been gross hot, we could have walked. Lol. Guthrie has great small town restaurants and fun shopping. We painted at the tipsy artist and hung out in the back yard in the hot tub and cool night air. We had a blast and it was just what we needed. The home is large enough for six and had nice touches like coffee both upstairs and down. Bathrooms sparkled and there were even beach towels to use for the hot tub. House was also cool and in the heat of late July in Oklahoma, we welcomed that!

Summary: This historic home is beautifully decorated and centrally located to everything you need in Guthrie. Having the hot tub, fire pit and pergola in the backyard made a perfect spot for our family gathering. The sunroom off the living area is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view of the Scottish Rite Masonic Temple.

Summary: As the youngest in our group exclaimed, "It's a Mansion!" However we could not allow her to enter the 'mansion' because as we approached the house, the entry door was open! As we tried to contact the manager, we could not find her number. We worked through the VRBO App to regain her number and she DID answer immediately! We found out that she had given us the wrong entry code as well as the wrong WiFi Password code, said that she must not have closed the door completely as she left that day. She apologized and stayed on the line until we were able to enter, explained how we should maneuver the door to enter and exit. The home was exquisite, historic and well laid out. The kitchen was small but well appointed and even allowed us to have a host a family breakfast for out of towners in for the celebration. Great relaxation spots in the back yard with the hot tub (cleaned and treated by the most gracious owner) while we were outside enjoying the beautiful sunshine. A Historic 'Mansion' worth returning to for our future OKC visits. Thank you
